Synopsis: Savannah would be happy to spend the summer in her coastal Carolina town lying in a hammock reading her beloved romance novels and working at the library. But then she meets Jackson. Once they lock eyes, she's convinced he's the one-her true love, her soul mate, a boy different from all the rest. And at first it looks like Savannah is right. Jackson abides by her mama's strict rules, and he stays by her side during a hospitalization for severe asthma, which Savannah becomes convinced is only improving because Jackson is there. But when he's called away to help his family- and seems uncertain about returning-Savannah has to learn to breathe on her own., both literally and figuratively.
This was a story of true love, and how it overcomes everything. Breathing was just gorgeous. I absolutely loved it. I couldnt help but fall in love with Jackson and Savannah. This story showed how even if you have delusions about something its really you. It also showed that a little push is what everyone needs in life. Through out the story Savannah is struggling with her asthma. Then she meets Jackson. After a scare at a picnic when her mother meets him she slowly stops having attacks. She believes its because of Jackson. When he leaves she is heartbroken and she ends up in the hospital two more times because of her asthma. She soon plots to have Jackson move back so she can breathe again. But he cant. She struggles with her own issues and the issues she has with everyone around. A story that can truly relate to everyone else. No matter what you love story is, this story lets you keep that small glint of hope.
