Synopsis: Perfect Parker Fadley isn't so perfect anymore. She's quit the cheerleading squad, she's dumped her perfect boyfriend, and she's failing school. Her parents are on a constant suicide watch and her counselors think she's playing games'¦but what they don't know, the real reason for this whole mess, isn't something she can say out loud. It isn't even something she can say to herself. A horrible thing has happened and it just might be her fault. Okay first of all. A note to Lydia. Please stop just picking up books and going "someone dies," then flip to the back of the book to verify it. TOTALLY ruined this book for me, I sat there the whole time just WAITING for your prediction to come true. This is one of those books where flipping to the last page, is NOT a good idea. I know a lot of people do it but trust me you will just toss this book to the side and not even bother finishing it if you do that. I loved this book. I cried though. Which really should make me hate it, but it was just so well written and it broke through the barriers of a shell a girl had created to please teh world around her. It was just heartbreaking in that aspect. But I loved it. I heard about it from another blogger and I wanted to read it. It was a great recommendation and I hope some of you will go out and read it also :)
